How It Works

The Mission List connects non-profits, NGOs, and socially conscious, pro-woman brands with people who are passionate about taking meaningful steps to increase awareness of and take action for social good causes. Anyone can join, whether you make yourself heard via social media or in-person in your community: all you need is a passion to make the world a better place and shout it from the rooftops.

Here’s how it works:

  • Join The Mission List – it only takes a minute!
  • We will contact you when we have opportunities for engagement with leading non-profits, NGOs, and brands
  • In many cases, you’ll be compensated for your time and talent. The Mission List is a social enterprise: we operate on a sliding scale basis. That means we charge different clients different rates depending on their ability to pay; we also do a lot of pro bono work. Our compensation to you reflects the sliding scale.

Why do we compensate you?

Just as we often get paid for professional consulting, we believe writers should be compensated for their time and talents. Compensation varies with each campaign, and many are pro bono- for us and you!

Why this approach?

Women are engines of social and political change. The Mission List empowers women to use their influence to make the world a better place, to lend their voices and support to social change, advocacy, and social entrepreneurialism.

The Mission List’s icon is our megaphone girl. We know our members have powerful megaphones, and we hope that through our work together we will amplify not only the voices of our clients, but our members’ voices as professionals and social media influencers.

If you have questions about how we work or if you would like to work with us, please contact us.
